OnePlus 7 Pro that got launched in early 2019 went for a no front camera and all-screen design. But, the company is taking the Samsung route in the future by introducing a punch hole camera in the upcoming OnePlus 8 Lite.
Equipped with an amazing skin named Oxygen OS over the traditional Android and a 90Hz display refresh rate, the 7 Pro made news for being one of the best smartphones of the year. It also delivered great value for money that convinced a lot of buyers to go for it and even YouTubers were all praise for this great phone.
The company is committed to continuing this winning streak and will launch a OnePlus 8 Lite before the flagship phones of the 2020 get revealed. The move has been confirmed with the official render leaks that kind of confirm that the upcoming Lite variant of the phone may feature a punch hole camera.
All-Screen Display is Gone?
The OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro is coming to mainstream market most probably in the second quarter of 2020. The phones are expected to be sized at 6.4-inches and 6.5-inches which is not a major difference in terms of display size. However, the internal components will vary because the plain version of their phone will be much cheaper when compared to the Pro version.
The smartphones feature a curved glass panel similar to many Samsung phones and some of the recent Huawei phones. It will sport brilliant AMOLED displays that is amazing for movies and gaming. The phones are expected to be thicker than the existing OnePlus 7 variant and a Lite version is also in the works.
Samsung is working on a S10 Lite and Apple is rumored to release a cheaper version of their flagship phones in 2020. The news adds strength to the fact that OnePlus 8 Lite is in the works and all three phones will sport a punch hole camera either in the left side or in the middle like the Galaxy Note 10.
