Samsung will continue the trend of launching their flagship smartphones in the first half of the year. Continuing their long time trend, the company will bring the next Samsung Galaxy S11 or possibly the S20 during an event scheduled in the month of February.
Samsung has already launched two new smartphones as rumored. After months of leaks and rumors, the Galaxy S10 Lite and the Galaxy Note 10 Lite are officially announced along with their hardware specifications.
In terms of specs, these two phones aren’t massively different because the brand wouldn’t want to hurt the sales of the existing S10 and Note 10 smartphones. However, they will be sold for a lower price point and will also feature Snapdragon 855+ processor along with an improved camera specification.
Another rumor claims that at the Samsung Galaxy unpacked event, they may also launch the Galaxy Fold 2 which is in works for some time now. The first edition despite being expensive made both critics and buyers happy.
The leak that confirmed Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event was found by Max Weinbach on the XDA Developers forum. Apparently, he managed to download the video and upload it on Twitter which has the release date confirmed to be on the 11th of February in 2020. The event will also be live streamed online similar to how they have handled all their flagship smartphone launch events.
Based on the design aesthetics, performance and photography that Samsung unveils during this event, it will also set a benchmark for all other smartphone brands like Apple, Google to come up with innovative ideas. In most scenario, they will remove the headphone jack as it is no longer available in Galaxy Note 10 devices but may also launch a budget Galaxy M20 smartphone with the 3.5mm jack for the developing markets.
