The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip phone is just days from getting officially launched if many rumors from the recent past are to be believed. A new video posted on Twitter allegedly shows an amazing new device that looks a lot like the Samsung renders and can be flipped open as how you would do with the Motorola Razr phone.
The build quality, color and the size of the display is rather large but it can instantly be turned into a beautiful compact phone when you flip it close. The Samsung Galaxy S20 series of phones which includes three new models will be released without any doubts during the Galaxy Unpacked event.
The smaller size is a welcome addition because after years of smartphones becoming as large as 7-inches that is tablet-sized, it is great to be able to have one that fits into your pocket. Be it your shirt or a boxer pocket, the small, foldable phone will seamlessly fit in allowing you to move around with ease but at the same time have the freedom to have a brilliantly large screen enclosed on the inside.
It is quite difficult to confirm whether this is the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip phone that we are talking about but the clamshell design combined with the small display in the front does sync with the rumors and leaks we have seen so far.
Measured at 6.7-inches with a foldable display, the Samsung galaxy Z Flip phone is expected to cost $2,000 when it gets launched during the Unpacked event. A lesser powered device from Motorola, the Razr costs $1,500 and is considered more affordable with a flip design but a processor that falls in the mid-tier category. With just days to go, it won’t be long before we have official confirmation on these models including the foldable phone.
