The Entertainment Software Association ESA confirmed that E3 2020 is happening with Microsoft being the most prominent participant of them all. Sony has dropped out of a live show for the second year despite the fact that they are going to launch the PS5 console during this holiday season. In their tweet, Xbox boss Phil Spencer added that they are super excited to take the opportunity and come up with lots of exciting announcements.
Nintendo will have a direct stream and booths at the Electronic Entertainment Expo. The major players and game development companies who will also be attending the event include Square Enix, Capcom, Ubisoft, Bethesda, Warner Bros, Sega and Bandai Namco.
The event’s prominent host Geoff Keighley opined that it is no longer in sync with his views and stepped out of E3 event after nearly two decades of producing the show.
Visitors who like to buy tickets can do so from the 15th of February onwards while everything that people have come to love about E3 2020 will be retained this year as well. Before the show, it is expected that the Corona Virus fears will subdue and allow everyone to take part without fear while enjoying some brand new games on next generation Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 consoles.
