E3 2020 the Electronic Entertainment Expo scheduled for this year has been officially cancelled. In a Twitter note, the company released a statement. They claimed that after careful consultation with their team members and taking the health factor of the large gaming community into consideration, it has been decided that the event will be cancelled.
The gaming convention E3 2020 was originally scheduled to take place in Los Angeles in 9th of June until 11th of June. Sony has already dropped out of the event even though PlayStation 5 is scheduled for launch this year. Microsoft after the announcement tweeted that they will be happy to hold a digital event in which Xbox Series X and Series S will be detailed further.
There is no word on E3’s possible future as more companies drop out of physical attendance and E3 2021, if it takes place might probably answer the queries.
