Razer Blade Stealth 13 Announced with a 120Hz Display and Costs $1,800

Razer Blade Stealth 13 comes around in a time when gadget launches have reached a stalled situation. Yet, the laptop’s specifications are amazing and so is the pricing as the company confirmed that they will sell it for $1,799. The official launch is expected to be in the second quarter of 2020 which is just two months to go.

The Blade Stealth 13 sports a 13.3-inch display but the biggest upgrade is the display. The team has come up with 120Hz refresh rate on such a compact yet powerful laptop. Gamers will be able to enjoy the convenience it offers as you can play competitive titles like Counter Strike and Overwatch at exceptional frame rates.

When all major smartphone flagship models support higher refresh rate, it is no surprise that a gaming company like Razer is adopting the trend. There are plans to launch a 4K resolution model later but it will be aimed towards content creators but not gamers. The display will also support 100% RGB spectrum which is vital for designers, developers and those who handle lots of business work on their laptop.

Under the hood, the device is powered by a GTX 1650 Max Q graphics card and Intel i7 processor. The catch here after paying a small fortune for the laptop is that it delivers very little power for modern AAA titles. However, games like Dota, Counter Strike and Overwatch should be able to run at higher frame rates so that you can make use of the 120Hz refresh rate in the display.

The Raze Blade Stealth 13 is ultra-compact at just 3.11 pounds with a 25W charging adapter. It should allow you to charge its battery much faster than the previous Stealth Blade available in the market. Once again, the company claims it to be the most powerful device out there but it has some tough competition with AMD-powered laptops that are sprouting out. The Asus Zephyrus G14 at just $1,449 is cheaper and offers better graphical performance in game titles.

Nvidia has to ramp up their game in the laptop market so that they can compete with AMD’s new line-up of chipsets.
