TCL is determined to leave their mark in the smartphone industry. Similar to Google’s Pixel phones and Samsung flagship devices, it is confirmed TCL 10 Pro and TCL 10L to get Android 11 along with two years of assured security updates.
People always laud the iPhone and Apple’s continued support for their iPhones that got released way back in the 2016. Their devices often never slow down, has good battery life and latest iOS updates are never missed whereas Android is entirely different. Often, your $500 phone or even a flagship device will be left in the lurch with no possible OS updates after a year. Receiving updates two years later is invariably out of question and will never happen but things are changing with newer brands on board.
Despite being complete to this smartphone world from their comfortable home entertainment area, the TCL 10 Pro and TCL 10L are promising new devices. The brand has disrupted the market already with an amazing phone that has the best hardware specifications, is available unlocked in the United States with multiple service providers and is definitely super affordable for most buyers.
Smartphones these days are conveniently crossing the $1000 mark while brands like Samsung, Google justify it by releasing “affordable” $700 devices. However, TCL wants to change things similar to how OnePlus did in the past before joining the dark side.
